Lyhty's principles in providing assisted housing services emphasize the individuality and the right to self-determination of its residents. The personal needs of each individual are taken into account in establishing a personal care plan for each resident in order to provide the best possible care and support for them. Lyhty aims to provide its residents a safe, lifelong home of high quality and to improve the overall wellbeing of its residents as well as securing the guidance, support and care they need.
Lyhty A, B and C provide client centered housing around-the-clock for the intellectually disabled. Each unit: A, B and C, provides a home for eight intellectually disabled people. All facilities in each housing unit are fully accessible.
Kotikutonen is a home for eight intellectually disabled adults. Kotikutonen has been fully renovated in 2013 and it provides fully accessible facilities to its residents.
Eljas is a home for seven intellectually disabled clients, who need continuous support in their day-to-day activities. Eljas has been fully renovated and expanded in 2014.
